The Forward High-Tech
Zone, founded in 1994, was ranked as state-level
industrial development zone and make up into the atrractive
"One Municipal and Six Zones" of Shanghai, together
with other five zones, such as Caohejing New Tech Development
Zone, Zhangjiang Science Park, Jinqiao Modern Science and
Technology Zone, Shanghai University Science and Technology
Zone, and China Textile International Science and Technology
Industrial Town. The first phase of land development scheme
covered areas of 5.26 square kilometers, planned and explored
by Shanghai Forward High-Tech Zone Development Co., Ltd. With
the inburst of foreign investment projects to Zone, the second
phase of approximately 2 square kilometers area has been completely
ready off in respect of "seven utilities connection and
land level off". In the zone, construction ratio is less
1.0 and green coverage rate is beyond 20%, expected road is
24m wide in net with 20-meter-wide green belt in each side.
Moreover, the main road in zone is 35m width with 60 meters
green belt in both sides.
Shanghai Forward High-Tech Zone is invested
by Shanghai forward Group Ltd which is the first non-state-owned
incorporation in the field of science and technology and being
currently enlisted on the shanghai stock exchange market.
Forward High-Tech Zone, being founded by the famous Fudan
University, is practicing the Chinese modern enterprise system
and promoting the combination of "production, studying
and research". Being believing in ¡°Sincere and Honest
Service¡±, Forward also is welcoming advance high technology
project into our zone from either domestic or foreign investors.
So far, zone is coming into form and cross industry, cross
geographic district, comprehensive developing corporation.
